Favorite Memory as Miss Waseca County Sleigh and Cutter: My favorite memory as MWCSC was delivering the St. Patrick's Day cards to the residents at Colony Court. The best response was, "Thanks, but I'm not Irish!"

Platform: Fractured Not Broken: Children of Divorce Intervention Program (CODIP)

Favorite Memory as Miss Waseca County Sleigh and Cutter: So many to choose from! I would say that being a speaker at the Minnesota State Counselor's Conference was such an honor. To watch them open the doors to seat people in the hallway so they could listen to my presentation on my platform was an amazing feeling! Spending time with the students in my pilot program in Minnesota for the Children of Divorce Intervention Program called "Molly's Kingdom Kids" and watching them work together and grow and then see the results made me realize that the program worked and is needed in our schools. Every appearance was special to me and it is hard to choose since I did make SO MANY! I would say that singing with the band at the Waseca Sleigh and Cutter Festival and meeting Joe Mauer were sure the icing on the cake!!!

Favorite Memory as Miss Waseca County Sleigh and Cutter: My favorite part about my year as Miss Waseca County was talking about my platform to the community. It was overwhelming and liberating to speak about something that affects so many people's lives. Competing at Miss Minnesota for the first time and being 3rd runner up was a big achievement as well.
Heidi was third runner up to Miss Minnesota when she was Miss Waseca. She went on to become Miss Hiawatha Valley where she placed as first runner up and Miss Metropolitan '02 where she was second runner up at Miss Minnesota.
